When sharing your data via one of our sign up forms, you can opt whether you would like to receive communications from 8th element. All emails* we send will provide the option for you to unsubscribe from receiving marketing/informational communications. We may still contact you by email or phone in the event of emergency. Or if there is important Information about appointments or classes (cancellations, emergencies etc)

*Email marketing campaigns published by 8th Element may contain tracking facilities within the actual email. Subscriber activity is tracked and stored in a database for future analysis and evaluation. Such tracked activity may include; the opening of emails, forwarding of emails, the clicking of links within the email content, times, dates and frequency of activity.

This information is used to refine future email campaigns and supply the user with more relevant content based around their activity.

In compliance with GDPR, subscribers are given the opportunity to unsubscribe at any time through an automated system. This process is detailed at the footer of each email campaign. Medical Records

We store your personal details (name, address, email, phone number, medical history and case notes on our clinical software system, which by law is fully correspondent with GDPR regulations. Ensuring all data is stored in 2 27001 accredited data centres within the UK.   All our paper medical records and computer stored personal information is securely stored in line with data protection laws. By law we have keep this information for 7 years.  However, If you would like these records destroyed please contact us in writing and we will destroy this data with 30 days.

If you do not resubscribe you will not hear from you regarding the clinic or any useful information we have to share with you.  However, we require notice in writing to remove your medical data.
